These stars leave behind a trail of light that will damage the player. Everlasting Rainbow – Releases a ring of 13 stars that spiral out clockwise, then spiral back in the same direction.3 sets of rays are created per sun dance, each positioned slightly more clockwise from the last. Sun Dance – Hovers above and slightly to the left of the player and emits 6 rays of light (8 if enraged) that slowly rotate clockwise.Dash Attack – Positions herself to the left or right of the player before charging horizontally in the player’s direction. If enraged, extra bolts are created, and they will spread out more before homing onto the player. These bolts do not have perfect tracking, and will miss if the player makes a sharp turn as they approach. Prismatic Bolts – Summons a cloud of prismatic bolts that home in on the player after a short time. She will always drop the Terraprisma if all damage dealt to her was during the day. This enraged state is indicated by her attacks turning from rainbow to bright yellow. She will enrage if still alive or if summoned during the daytime, causing her attacks to do tens of thousands of damage, instantly killing players who are hit by her attacks. The Empress of Light, if summoned by a natural spawning Lacewing, will be fought at night. If you want to catch multiple Lacewings in one night, it is recommended to farm for them during a Blood Moon. However, the critter will almost instantly despawn if released outside of the Hallow, so it must be killed quickly in order to summon the boss. This can be used to spawn the boss at a more desired place and time. Like most critters, the Prismatic Lacewing can be caught with any bug net, which can then be released, and killed, by the player manually. The Prismatic Lacewing will only spawn naturally between 7:30 PM and 12:00 AM, and only one can have spawned in the world at any given time. As it is a rare creature, it can be detected by the Lifeform Analyzer. Alternatively, you could set up a bed in the middle of your arena, and just respawn when you die.The Empress of Light can be spawned by killing a Prismatic Lacewing, which is a rare critter that spawns in the surface Hallow during the night once Plantera has been defeated in the world. Then, just run away from Plantera while shooting at her. If that doesn't work, make a long narrow hallway w/ teleporters on each side, between 150 to 250 (NO MORE!) blocks long. Ranged weapons do work against Plantera, so your combination should be pretty good. Other than that, you should constantly attack it without stop. Try to reforge your accessories to Warding, though if you insist on getting more damage (faster kill), try Menacing, which makes more than a little bit of a difference.Īvoid the Spike Balls (pink, have spikes) at all costs! They deal 100 damage (on PC, only 50). Combine that with the Cross Necklace to get the Star Veil, which will be useful. Since you appear to be dying too soon, try to get the Charm of Myths, which increases regeneration and decreases Potion Sickness length. However, Turtle Armor w/ Megashark is still an OK combination you just won't get the melee buffs the Turtle Armor gives. The Death Sickle (from the Solar Eclipse, like the Broken Hero Sword) is extremely powerful against Plantera. Other than swords, I find Light Disks (as many as possible, I recommend 3+) to be helpful sometimes. For melee, you should try to obtain a True Night's Edge, True Excalibur, or Terra Blade, if you are patient. However, Shroomite armor has relatively lower defense. You should try to obtain Shroomite armor. The Megashark (I think that's what you mean by Maxshark, because if you are using Minishark, then that's your problem) is a ranged weapon. Note that you are using Turtle Armor, which specializes in melee. For ammo, I recommend Chlorophyte bullets, as they are homing (and look awesome). Make sure you have potions, such as ironskin.

You should make a 1x2 pool of honey to dip in once in a while. Make sure Plantera isn't leaving the underground jungle (even surface jungle is not OK), as she will enrage and pretty much tear your face off (she becomes orange-ish looking and her stats are doubled or tripled). As long as you keep moving quickly, you should be fine. You can use bombs or dynamite to dig out a large place for an arena (don't blow up Plantera's bulb!).Īlso, you could put a wall or something in the middle of your arena and fly around it while shooting at Plantera. If you have a large enough arena, Plantera should be easy to kill. You haven't posted any screenshots of your arena.
